A recent retail trend observation that capitalizes on the young-adult markets yearning for identity and desire for personalization reveals this new company, Whoopass Enterprizes, to be primed for a big leap in consumer's conscience.

“'Whoopass Enterprises was formed in 2003 to market products that were conceived while drinking Schlitz,' reads the company website. So, what’s the boozed brilliance? How about custom bobblehead dolls. For between $60 and $190, customers can have their own head – or that of a pet or loved one – made into a bouncing resin tchotchke. As with make-your-own action figures and toys, Whoopass customers simply send in their headshots and then pick out the doll’s clothes, colors, accessories, and body styles. Whoopass even recommends fooling around with that last part. Putting a human head on an animal body never gets old for office pranksters, apparently.

Sure, a minibobblehead you may be a tad creepy, but it’s also customized. And lately, there’s no sweeter marketing word than “customizable.” For 20somethings tired of the same old same old, a nodding-noggin mini-me is personalized novel fun.
